New Website

After providing me with many years of mostly-free hosting, the owner of my old host has decided to down-size a bit and shut down his servers. I am forever grateful that he provided me with full access to his FreeBSD box for so long. It was great fun while it lasted! It provided me with a place to run several experiments, taught me a bit about FreeBSD, and allowed me to share some of my work and photos with friends and family.

Now that the hosting is no longer available, I made a decision that I no longer want to worry about maintaining services such as a photo album, forum, or my custom CMS. As anybody who ever visited my old site knows, I hadn't kept up with it recently anyway. So, for now, I'm going to start fresh with already existing hosting services. I'll be trying out a simple Google Sites approach to begin with. Depending on how other plans of mine end up working out, I may look at other options in the future.
